Defined yet natural-looking brows are a trend that shows no sign of fading — and it's not hard to see why. The right brows lift the whole face and open up the eyes. Here's our guide to five simple steps.
1. Shape your brows according to your natural form
Your natural brow shape is always the best starting point. In most cases it already suits your face. Remove only the hairs that grow outside that natural shape, and never more than necessary. One hair at a time, and no more than once a week — that way you avoid over-plucking.
2. Boost with an eyebrow serum
If you want fuller, thicker brows naturally, Xbrow Eyebrow Serum is the smartest step you can take. Formulated with Myristoyl Pentapeptide-17 to stimulate hair growth, woad leaf extract to increase volume and thickness, and vitamin E to strengthen and nourish. Apply every evening along the brows and see visible results in 28 days.
3. Choose the right shade and technique
Pick a brow pencil one to two shades darker than your natural hair colour for a natural, defined result. The Micro Sculpting Brow Pencil has an ultra-fine applicator that creates hair-like strokes mimicking real brow hairs. Available in Beige Brown, Dark Brown, and Greyish Grey.
Three technique tips for the best result: use a light hand for a soft, natural finish; don't extend the tail beyond your natural brow shape; and use the built-in spoolie to blend out any hard lines and distribute the colour evenly.
4. Define the arch with care
Follow your natural arch and fill in with light pencil strokes where needed. Avoid arches that are too high or too sharp. If you want to emphasise the arch a little more, apply a touch of concealer just below the brow for a lifting, eye-opening effect.
5. Finish with a spoolie
Brush through your brows before you fill them in to lay the hairs in place, and again afterwards to soften any sharp lines and create a more natural look. With the Micro Sculpting Brow Pencil you get both pencil and spoolie in one for a complete result in seconds.
