Just like the hair on your head, your eyelashes go through a natural cycle. Read on if you're curious about how to keep your lashes healthy and how a lash serum can affect growth.

1. Anagen - The Growth Phase
The life cycle of your eyelashes begins with the growth phase. This is where the magic happens! Your lashes grow actively, and this is the perfect time for them to benefit from the serum. Our serum is specially developed to strengthen lashes from the root, giving them the best possible foundation to become long and strong — this phase lasts between 30 and 45 days.
2. Catagen - The Transition Phase
After a period of active growth, the lashes enter the transition phase. During this period, growth stops and the lash prepares for the next stage. Even though the lashes are no longer growing, it is important to continue applying your serum regularly to nourish and strengthen the lashes that will soon make way for new ones.
3. Telogen - The Resting Phase
The final phase is the resting phase. This is a resting period for old lashes, which are gradually replaced by new ones. This phase can last up to 100 days, and even during this time it is important to maintain lash quality and provide nourishment with your serum.
It may take slightly longer to see results from your serum if several of your lashes are in the final phase of the lash cycle when you begin using it. By understanding these phases, you can give your lashes the best possible conditions to become longer and stronger.
Why do I lose lashes?
Lashes fall out when they reach the end of the telogen phase, allowing new lashes to grow in. Not all lashes are in the same phase at the same time - which is why you don’t lose all your lashes at once.
