We at Xlash received a review from Klara where she described herself as very frugal, picky, and skeptical, but that Xlash really works. The review was very honest, and we were completely sold. So we asked her for an interview. Here's how Klara went from skeptic to becoming part of the Xlash family.
"I'm very frugal, picky, and skeptical about different serums. Many influencers lie about them working for money. But this one works, and frugal me is satisfied."
Why were you so skeptical about Xlash?
Initially, it was because I had only heard about the brand through influencers and only seen their amazing results. Later, I also noticed that many who used Xlash had also done lash lifts, which made me doubt the serum even more. I felt like they were trying to sell me a product. Additionally, my mom always said to be careful with what you use near your eyes since a similar product had given her an allergy when she was young.
Why did you decide to try it anyway?
I saw that Instagram users started posting their followers' results and DMs where they thanked them for the tip about the serum, and they have no reason to sell me things. Then I started googling to see what reviews were out there, if anyone had a bad experience. Only a few were negative, but no one wrote that it was harmful to their eyes, just that they didn't get the results they wanted. Then I felt it was worth trying!
Did you get results?
The same day I received Xlash, I took a picture of my lashes so I wouldn't fall for a placebo effect. Already after the second week, my mom started commenting on whether I had bought a new mascara. I replied that I wasn't using any. Nowadays, the results I got are hard to miss. I'm super satisfied and no longer use mascara, and I think I look generally more awake.
Why did you describe yourself as frugal in your review?
As I said, I'm a naturally skeptical and frugal person. It comes from growing up in conditions with little money to live on, as my mom is a single parent working in healthcare. So I quickly learned as a child to take care of my money and only buy things I really want, rather than wasting it on small things.
My skepticism mostly comes from advertisements and influencers since many just want to make money rather than care about quality. Or they speak highly of one serum one week, "this is the one I've been using every day for six months," then say the exact same thing about another product the next week.
I'm very grateful that Xlash works and will definitely buy it again and try other products!
