1. Xlash Eyelash Serum
Xlash is the obvious first step. Your lashes won't just look longer; they will actually be longer. In just 30 days, you'll have longer, fuller, and thicker eyelashes. All it takes is daily application, like an eyeliner, and a bit of patience.
2. Curl Your Eyelashes Properly
If you don't curl your eyelashes, this is a real game-changer. Straight lashes appear shorter than they are. But it's not enough just to curl them; you need to do it right for the best results. Use an eyelash curler. Start with a curl at the base of the lash line and then move the curler a few millimeters and curl again. Repeat all the way to the tips of the lashes. This gives you a beautiful curl that lasts all day instead of a straight upward bend.
3. Apply Eyeliner Correctly
Eyeliner can either help or hinder your eyelashes. We love a bold eyeliner with a sharp wing, but a thick eyeliner can make your lashes less noticeable. Instead, we recommend using thin lines, a black shadow, or lightly filling in between the lashes if you want a look where the lashes are the focus.
4. Use Mascara Correctly
If you have light eyelashes, be extra careful to apply mascara to the entire lash. It's easy to miss the roots, so use a zigzag motion. And while you probably apply mascara from underneath, don't forget the top side! Look slightly downward and brush with the mascara wand.

5. Tint Your Lashes
Tinting your lashes can also be an option for creating the illusion of longer lashes without mascara. Dark lashes will be much more noticeable than light ones.
6. Prep
Try dusting a transparent powder on your lashes before applying mascara. It works like a primer and gives you fuller lashes. Our Xbrow Gel, which contains fibers, also works great as a primer before mascara.
7. Light Eyeshadow
Using a light eyeshadow on your eyelid will make your dark lashes stand out even more. White might not be ideal, but a champagne shade with shimmer, a skin-toned satin finish, or a warm beige shadow are great options.
8. Longer Lashes Without Mascara
Brush through your lashes with a clean mascara wand or spoolie, curl with the Xlash Eyelash Curler, and finish with Xbrow Gel to set the result. The fibers also make the lashes appear longer. Perfect if you want to let your Xlash results speak for themselves or during warmer months when mascara feels unnecessary.
9. Choose the Right Type of Mascara
Test which type of mascara works best for your lashes. A lengthening mascara focuses on length, while a volumizing mascara gives a fuller appearance. You can also start with a lengthening mascara and layer a volumizing one on top. It takes some practice to get the right look, but once you do, nothing can stop you!
